Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support plaintiff-side civil litigation, with a strong focus on medical malpractice and sexual abuse cases. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can manage a demanding caseload, work independently, and support cases through trial.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in personal injury and medical malpractice
• Plaintiff-side litigation experience required
• Experience preparing and filing lawsuits from inception through resolution
• Trial preparation and trial support experience
• Mediation and deposition experience strongly preferred
• Multi-state litigation experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation cases from pre-suit through trial
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents
• Prepare and file documents in state and federal courts using e-filing systems
• Maintain and manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and court requirements
• Coordinate and prepare attorneys for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial
• Organize and maintain case files and exhibits
• Provide trial preparation and in-court trial support
• Communicate effectively with clients, experts, courts, and opposing counsel
