Job Summary:
The Data Solution Architect will design and optimize data architecture solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. This role involves collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver robust data pipelines and APIs while aligning with business objectives.
The Key Responsibilities are:
- Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
- Work in synergy with Peer Solution Architects across different business domains and sub domains.
- Hands-on ability to deliver and code review production-grade data pipelines and APIs.
- Resolving technical problems as they arise, taking into consideration performance, security, scalability, maintainability and reusability.
- Designing, modifying, and testing technical architecture.
- Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.
- Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
- Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented.
- Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.
- Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Data Architect or similar role with 10+ years of experience.
- Deep knowledge of design patterns and different technical architectures.
- Deep knowledge of various operating systems and databases.
- In-depth understanding of coding languages, algorithms and frameworks. The subject project is based on Python, Databricks, Azure tech stack.
- Proficiency in SQL, Spark, and API development.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Efficient communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Demonstrates competencies in Creativity & Innovation, Business Acumen, Agility & Adaptability, Communication, Teamwork & Collaboration, Emotional Intelligence, and Mentoring & Leadership as per CME standards. This opportunity is remote for Egyptian applicants and Hybrid for Lebanese applicants.
