We’re looking for a Welder Superintendent to join our Thailand team.

As a Welder Superintendent, you will lead and manage all welding operations on site. Your responsibilities include scheduling, workface planning, coordinating and supervising crews, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, overseeing apprentice training, and driving productivity. You will also monitor costs and maintain strict quality control throughout the project.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Welder Superintendent to join our team in Rayong office

The role responsibilities include:

 

·      Supervise and coordinate all welding activities, ensuring compliance with project specs and codes.

·      Plan schedules, allocate manpower, and monitor progress.

·      Ensure welders are qualified and WPS compliance.

·      Oversee inspections, NDT, and resolve technical issues.

·      Enforce safety standards and conduct toolbox talks.

·      Manage consumables and equipment.

·      Liaise with engineering and QA/QC teams.

·      Maintain documentation and progress reports.

What you’ll have

·      Certified professional for responsible, management and oversight of productivity, quality, safety, and cost.

·      Extensive industry experience in Engineering & Construction or Petrochemical projects, including specification and review of welding procedures, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

·      Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Welding Technology required, along with experience in mechanical design.

·      Given the necessity of interacting with Thai-speaking clients, Thai language is essential.

·      Technical Expertise included; Welding and shop fabrication, inspection & testing, and ITP planning, Welder qualifications (WPQR) and NDE procedures (RT, UT, MT, PT), Pressure vessel and equipment inspection (CS, SS, hoppers, agitators), Hydrostatic testing, turnover documentation, and tube bundle inspection.
