We are seeking a motivated and results-driving Sales & Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships, partnering with business clients to help solve their problems through our process of “WE MAKE COMPANIES VISIBLE.” This role needs to be someone who understands how print solves real business problems and who’s excited to build relationships that turn ideas into tangible results.
Alphagraphics is part of Speedy CPS. Speedy CPS has 16 locations in Idaho, Utah, Montana and Wyoming, that support our full-service print and signage efforts. We have added 6 locations in the last 3 years and have aggressive growth goals for the next 5 years. The corporate office for Speedy CPS is in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Qualifications
Role Summary
The Sales & Marketing Specialist drives revenue by prospecting new business, expanding existing accounts, and supporting marketing efforts that generate qualified leads. You’ll work directly with local businesses, nonprofits, schools, and corporate clients to recommend print solutions that match their goals — from business cards and brochures to banners, signage, direct mail campaigns, and multi-channel campaigns.
This is a great role for someone who loves consultative selling, thrives on relationship-building, and enjoys seeing a project go from concept to finished piece.
Key Responsibilities
Sales (Primary 70%)
- Prospect and develop new accounts in assigned territory through cold/warm outreach, networking, referrals, walk-ins, and inbound leads.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs, timelines, budgets, and brand goals.
- Recommend tailored print and marketing solutions (e.g., commercial print, wide format, direct mail, EDDM, variable data, finishing, bindery, signage, promotional items).
- Manage the sales pipeline and customer communications in CRM.
- By working with a team of account support reps and account managers, ensure the customers are supported and receive timely responses related to preparing quotes/proposals and coordinating with production to ensure feasibility and accuracy. Follow up on estimates and open opportunities to close deals happen in a timely manner.
- Meet or exceed weekly activity metrics and monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Stay current on print substrates, finishing options, and production capabilities to confidently advise clients.
Marketing (Secondary 30%)
- Support local marketing and lead-gen activities (business networking groups, chambers, B2B events, trade shows, client workshops).
- Assist with outbound campaign creation (email, social, postcards, door hangers, etc.) to drive print demand.
- Collaborate with the team on seasonal promotions and cross-sell opportunities.
- Track lead sources, campaign performance, and conversion rates, and share insights with leadership.
- Help maintain a strong local brand presence and community relationships.
- Assist marketing teams with local contact creation to be used in blogs, websites, social media, and other sales networking activities.
What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)
- Build a steady new-business pipeline with consistent outreach.
- Close initial accounts and develop repeat ordering behavior.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and confident consultative selling.
- Contribute to at least one lead-generating marketing initiative.
- Become a trusted partner to clients by proactively recommending solutions.
Qualifications
Required
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, marketing, customer success, or related client-facing work.
- Previous Sales experience with a track record for growing sales
- Strong communication skills — comfortable presenting solutions in person, by phone, and email.
- Proven ability to organize your day, manage follow-ups, and move opportunities forward.
- Marketing experience
- Basic proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region.
Preferred (Print-Industry Bonus Points)
- Experience in commercial print, signage, direct mail, or related industries.
- Understanding of print specs and terminology (paper weights, coatings, bleeds, color, finishing, wide format applications).
- Track record of achieving sales goals or growing accounts.
- Experience with [HubSpot / Salesforce / Monday / Print MIS] or similar tools.
- Have experience running marketing campaigns and content creation/generation
