Reporting to Q2 Management’s Director of Sales, the Inside Sales/Business Development Representative is a sales resource primarily dedicated to performing “Discovery Stage” sales tasks. As a central point of contact, our Business Development Team will develop a strong professional relationship with our customers and employees.
The Business Development Representative has a belief and passion for Q2’s Corporate Vision, Values, and Keys. They accept Ownership and are Empowered to ensure a constant pipeline of new contacts and qualified sales presentations for Regional Account Managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Incorporates Q2 values into day-to-day communications (Internal/External)
- Demonstrates Care through quality service and clear communications to new and existing customers
- Successfully acquire “Social Selling Mastery” certification and leverage best practices in day-to-day outreach campaigns
- Successfully acquire “Hubspot CRM” certification
- Leverage existing relationships to identify, qualify and manage net-new opportunities that will generate top-line revenue for Q2 Management
- Actively participates in outbound call/email campaigns to generate new sales
- Manage prospects from lead generation through presentations with the ability to articulate the value proposition, navigate objections, and foster relationships with Care and Transparency
- Partner with Regional Account Managers, Operational Leaders, and Q2’s Marketing Department to create and execute specific regional sales plans
- Assist the branch with in-person/virtual client presentations, including technology demonstrations and proposals as required
- Maintain a weekly reporting cadence with the Sales Director to maintain alignment and Transparency on branch and corporate objectives.
- Perform “ISO compliant” CSAT surveys
- Maintains a focus on day-to-day performance through the management of metrics and KPIs
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- A dedication to customer service and an “expert-level” of knowledge about clients
- Excellent record of accomplishment meeting quotas and attendance
- An ability to work in a “Team Environment” toward organizational objectives
