YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As an IT Project Manager, you will bring strong technical expertise and a senior, strategic perspective to assess, evaluate, and lead global technology implementations at Altman Solon. You will use your deep understanding of IT systems to identify capability gaps, determine whether new tools are needed, and drive end-to-end implementations in close collaboration with global stakeholders and vendors.
- Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead end-to-end global IT implementations, from solution assessment and tool selection through delivery, managing requirements, timelines, scope, risks, and budgets while coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors in an international environment.
- Requirements Definition: Assess current systems and future needs across HR, Finance, and other functions, identify capability gaps, and translate business requirements into clear technical concepts, partnering with technical teams to evaluate and design fit-for-purpose solutions aligned with the firm’s technology strategy.
- Technology Rollout & Change Management: Own global deployments by leading onboarding, communication, and training, driving adoption across offices, monitoring usage, resolving hurdles, and managing post-launch enhancements.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for vendors while advising leadership on solution options, aligning business teams and IT to prioritize initiatives, and ensuring service quality and effective issue resolution.
- Documentation & Governance: Maintain firm-wide documentation and governance standards while supporting GDPR, cybersecurity, and data protection requirements in collaboration with internal experts.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Academic Background: University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business IT, or a related field.
- IT Implementation Expertise: 5+ years of experience leading IT implementations, product rollouts, or digital transformation initiatives, with prior hands-on exposure to technical roles and a strong understanding of end-to-end system landscapes.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, cloud and SaaS environments, system integrations, and data workflows (SAP ByDesign a plus), with the ability to critically assess tools, architectures, and implementation options and identify when new solutions are, or are not, required.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Proven experience working cross-functionally in global environments with business teams, leadership, and external vendors, translating complex technical topics into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Change Management Mindset: Ability to drive user adoption, simplify processes, and support organization-wide change across multiple regions.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages such as German or French are a plus.
