Job Description Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Portfolio Manager to oversee our extensive GE fleet in Turkmenistan, based in Ashgabat. This role involves managing assigned contracts, ensuring customer obligations are met, and contributing to both preventive and remedial maintenance services. You will plan, coordinate, and manage project activities to fulfill customer orders and needs according to financial and commercial parameters, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Operating with moderate autonomy, this position requires high levels of operational judgment and proven experience in customer portfolio management, maintenance services, and project management.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • All contract performance related activities. Perform in the role as the interface between the customer and the project team, managing the transfer of information and requests
  • Assure timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the project and negotiate changes and variations and solutions to any issue arising. Responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract
  • Perform proposal negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision provide support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts function as the liaison for the customer on contract matters
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • At least 5 years of work experience in Power Services
  • Strong communication skills in English and local language
  • Service contracts, T&C’s and associated financial model knowledge
  • Comfortable to reside in Ashgabat

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Any kind of engineering degree is preferred
  • Deep experience in managing service contracts and a customer facing role
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
