Job Description Summary

Are you an experienced SAP professional ready to lead technical innovation across a national enterprise landscape? Service Stream is seeking a Technical Lead – SAP to provide architectural oversight, hands-on guidance, and strategic leadership for our core platforms.

About the Role

As the Technical Lead, you will drive the design, development, and deployment of solutions within our SAP S/4HANA environment, leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and integrating with key systems such as SuccessFactors and Payroll. Your focus will be on ensuring stability, security, and scalability while championing innovation and process automation.

Location​: 655 Collins St, Docklands, Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and development within SAP S/4HANA using ABAP, CDS Views, and Fiori.
• Drive adoption of SAP BTP for custom applications, integrations (via SAP Integration Suite/CPI), and advanced services like workflow and AI/ML.
• Define and enforce technical standards, governance, and best practices.
• Oversee system upgrades, patches, and feature releases for SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors.
• Ensure secure, reliable data flow between SuccessFactors and S/4HANA.
• Provide mentorship to developers and analysts, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years in SAP technical roles, with 3–5 years in a leadership or architecture position.
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementation and SAP BTP (Integration Suite/CPI, Extension Suite).
• Strong knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors integrations (SFAPI, OData, Compound Employee API).
• SAP certifications (S/4HANA or BTP) highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
