ERP Technical Lead

In this role, you will lead and govern all SAP technical workstreams including ABAP and Fiori/UI5 development, SAP BTP and Integration Suite, Security & Authorisations, and BASIS/technical operations. You will own the SAP technical roadmap, provide architectural oversight, and ensure high-quality delivery from internal teams and System Integrators within an agile delivery model.

This is a fixed-term role until mid 2028 based in Surry Hills, NSW.

Responsibilities include:

• Technical leadership across SAP Development, Integration, Security & Controls, and BASIS
• Design governance and quality assurance of custom developments, integrations, and configurations
• Oversight of API-led integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems
• Governance of SAP landscapes, transports, upgrades, performance, and operational readiness
• Ensuring audit-ready security, controls, and documentation
• Hands-on technical support to validate solutions and unblock delivery teams

Who are you?

• 15+ years’ experience in SAP technical roles, including senior technical or architectural leadership
• Strong hands-on expertise across SAP development and integration technologies
• Proven experience leading a direct technical team, System Integrators and large SAP transformation programs
• Hands-on experience in SAP Development and Integration technologies
• Previous extensive involvement in medium-to-large SAP transformation programs.

• Effective communicator, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for diverse audiences.
