We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven (Junior) Legal Counsel (m/f/d) with a passion for digital financial services.
You have a strong hands-on mindset, see law as a strategic enabler, and want to actively shape the legal function while working closely with our General Counsel. In this role, you will take ownership of the services provided by the legal department and ensure that our legal processes are perfectly aligned with the needs of a fast-growing tech company.

In this role, you will take ownership of the services provided by the legal department and ensure that our legal processes are perfectly aligned with the needs of a fast-growing tech company.
Your role in detail:
- Business Partnering: You act as the first point of contact for our business teams (Sales, Account Management, Product, Marketing) and confidently advise them on all legal matters in day-to-day operations.
- Contract Ownership: You independently review, draft, and negotiate SaaS, sales, and cooperation agreements as well as NDAs, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Data & Innovation: You actively help shape our approach to data protection and data governance (e.g. Data Act, AI Act) and ensure that new regulatory requirements are directly reflected in our products.
- Legal Operations: You think beyond traditional legal advisory work and contribute to projects focused on automating and scaling our internal legal processes.
- Strategic Impact: Working directly with the General Counsel, you ensure that our legal services are fully aligned with the needs of an agile fintech company.
- Qualification: You are a fully qualified lawyer or hold a degree in business law (e.g. LL.B., LL.M.), ideally with initial relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Ownership & Mindset: You are a solution-oriented business partner who can translate complex legal topics into clear, practical guidance for non-lawyers.
- Curiosity: You are passionate about the digital economy and IT law and are eager to quickly dive into complex new topics.
- Flexibility: You thrive in a dynamic environment, stay organized despite shifting priorities, and enjoy working independently.
- Language Skills: You communicate fluently and confidently in both German and English.
