Maintenance Engineer/Technician - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Attaining Zero Break Down for the equipment's thereby increasing the plant equipment efficiency and increase in productivity•Experience with Siemens Control logics, NC/VMC machines, gearboxes, conveyor systems, and presses, Leak testers.• Experienced in Electrical Maintenance of Cutting Tools, Fixtures, Tightening tools, VMC & HMC machines of NTC, MAG, Heller and Nagel Honing. • Experienced in reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting circuits, working with single and three-phase power, AC/DC motors, servo systems, and control logic (e.g., Siemens controls, reading ladder logic).• Implementing kaizens, poka-yoke and Innovation for continuous improvement process in the plant• Troubleshooting  of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.• Inhouse servicing of Electrical Spares and knowledgeable in powertrain systems• Maintain 5S of Shop floor and Maintenance area•  Able to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC ladder diagrams, and technical manuals.• Knowledge in trouble shooting of Siemens related logic controls, Backing up and restoring machine parameters and PLC programs• Good Knowledge in Electrical maintenance of Engine shop machineries

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Essential skills

 

a) TechnicalShall have good knowledge in Spindle problems (bearings, run-out), ball screw issues, backlash, axis alignment, tool changers, chucks/fixturing, vibration, and general wear and tear.Shall have good Knowledge in Pneumatics and Hydraulics systemsShall have good knowledge in spindle,shaft alignment & Lead screw maintenance.Shall have good knowledge in Energy management.Shall have good knowledge on Spare part managementShall have basic knowledge in Electrical  and Controls Troubleshootingb) BehaviouralAnalytical in nature Positive attitude.Good communication skill Can-do attitude and visionary thinkingWorking in a team.Learn to win approachFlexible and  adaptability

Experience

4 to 6 Years in Automobile Industry preferably from Engine shop or Power train assembly.
