As a QA Analyst I (12-month Contract), you will ensure our agile teams are producing high quality deliverables while collaborating closely with a community of passionate and talented developers, designers, product owners. You will work with a variety of cross-functional teams to continually advocate for the integrity of our QA process.

In this role, the successful candidates are needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do:

  • Designing and executing test cases based on acceptance criteria and requirements.

  • Providing status updates and reporting test results to the team.

  • Participating in scrum ceremonies and actively engaging with the team

  • Documenting processes and new features for testing reference

  • Documenting, triaging, investigating, and re-testing bugs and failures.

  • Participating in testing on projects that span multiple teams.

  • Keeping stakeholders up to date on the status and results of testing

  • Advocating for end-users when designing or assessing new features or functionality

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in test planning, designing, developing, and testing software.

  • Good understanding on how to apply QA methodologies and processes.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and accountability across cross-functional teams

  • Naturally curious and analytical thinker who uses questioning mindset to explore ideas and incorporate feedback

  • Adaptability to change with enthusiasm and consistently delivers quality results.

  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organization, ensuring accurate validation of system functionality and supporting documentation

  • Certificate, Diploma or Degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline

Annualized Compensation Range

$59,000.00 - $62,000.00

This role is overtime eligible.

Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
