Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Database Administrator (DBA) for their Beavercreek Ohio facility. This DBA will be an active part of a team of Database Administrators who will share in the administration of Neo4j, Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, etc. This environment includes ever growing opportunities with modernization such as Cloud technologies and DevOps CI/CD pipelines. This candidate will be planned to support a production environment on site at National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base once properly cleared to support mission critical needs. NASIC is responsible for creating all-source intelligence defining the present and future air, air defense, cyber, space and ballistic missile threats to enable military operations, force modernization, and policy making.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years’ experience OR a master’s degree with 3 years' experience OR a high school diploma/equivalent with 9 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Database Administration
- Must obtain an IAT Level II certification such as Security+CE or SecurityX (formerly CASP+) within 90 days of hiring
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Candidate must demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Department of Defense Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
- Experience with DevOps architecture such as Kubernetes, Nexus, Harbor, Docker, GitLab, etc.
- Experience with Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, or MongoDB, or graph Database administration
- Experience with Apache, NGINX, or JBoss Server administration
- Experience with scripting using tools such as Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell, etc.
- Active CompTIA or SecurityX or Security+ certification
