Senior DevOps/AWS Cloud Engineer

What You'll Do:

• Lead and support teams in infrastructure modernization initiatives, including cloud migrations.
• Design and implement scalable, robust cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation processes.
• Architect and maintain container orchestration platforms (OpenShift & Kubernetes).
• Drive infrastructure-as-code adoption using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK .
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment workflows.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Advocate and enforce security best practices across our cloud infrastructure.

 

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the Jenkins platform, including access control and pipeline automation.
• Ensure high availability of critical infrastructure and application environments.
• Partner with development teams to guarantee smooth deployments and environment consistency .
• Lead incident response efforts and provide technical guidance during critical situations.
• Optimize cost and performance across AWS infrastructure.
• Mentor team members on cloud best practices and DevOps principles.

 

Technical Skills We're Looking For

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, EKS…) .
• Familiarity with additional AWS components (API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, EMR) is a plus.
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation .
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Skilled in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools including Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Nagios.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of systems engineering experience
• 4+ years working with AWS cloud platform
• 4+ years applying DevOps practices and tools
• 2+ years of container orchestration experience
• 4+ years proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash)
