About the role
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) to join our Luxury fragrance portfolio. The ABM will be responsible for building brand equity and driving market share across distributor markets in Southeast Asia.
This role requires close collaboration with distributors, regional teams, and global stakeholders to translate brand strategies into impactful market executions. You will manage 360° marketing plans, ensure premium in-store experiences, and monitor business performance to deliver sustainable growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Alignment
- Lead joint business planning with distributors on annual marketing calendars (launches, re-promotes, key campaigns) and marketing investments.
- Validate and align 360° marketing plans across all touchpoints to ensure consistency with brand DNA and global direction.
- Partner with Global and APAC marketing teams to cascade brand strategies, launches, and toolkits into distributor markets.
Execution & Compliance
- Ensure all marketing executions are brand-compliant, consumer-relevant, and aligned with equity-building objectives.
- Drive execution of podiums, outposts, and window animations during key campaigns/KCPs to maximize visibility and consumer recruitment.
- Manage permanent merchandising projects and store expansion plans to elevate consumer experience.
Performance & Analysis
- Monitor and analyze post-launch performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Consolidate and analyze monthly sales reports, identifying opportunities and risks by market and category.
- Manage A&P budget, track performance, and conduct ROI analysis on key initiatives.
Distributor & Market Management
- Secure visibility on distributor marketing investments to ensure effective and optimized spend.
- Manage product assortment strategy and forecasting process across distributor markets.
- Prepare business reviews, reports, and presentations for management and regional teams.
REQUIREMENTS
A dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset, with strong attention to detail, the ideal candidate will bring:
- Min. 5 years of 360° brand management experience in Luxury Beauty; experience working with distributors preferred.
- Knowledge and exposure to Southeast Asia markets.
- Experience in multi-brand portfolio management is preferred.
- Strong business acumen with comfort in working with numbers, budgets, and ROI analysis.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills; able to prioritize effectively under pressure.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Proactive, passionate, and enthusiastic approach to building brands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- A strong team player, able to build effective relationships internally and externally, and excel in a multicultural environment.
- Comfortable working with stakeholders via phone and email, and flexible to travel when required.
