Database Monitoring

• Monitor the databases for availability, better performance, and un-interrupted services of bank’s critical databases.

Backup Sites

• Ensure disaster recovery sites are properly getting synchronized with production with zero-data loss.

Availability

• Should be available 24*7 for any critical issue and willing to work in shifts.

Patch evaluation

• Thoroughly validate provided script for performance issues on database before go-live and inform relevant stakeholder in case optimization is required.

Backup Management

• To take backup of the databases to ensure availability of database backup for recovery purposes

Patch Management

• Do patch management of the fixes or changes that occur during the rollout in production environment.

Database support

• Provides technical support to application/development teams.

Evaluation of release

• Evaluates releases of databases and its tools.

Database Upgrade

• Should be able to upgrade database to latest and supported version

Database troubleshooting

• Troubleshoots database problems using relevant tools if required.

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum Experience: 12+ years in database administration, with 4+ years in leadership.
• Technical Skills: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Mongo DB, NoSQL. Knowledge of PostgreSQL would be plus
