Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

As we expand our capabilities, we are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize mission-critical Oracle database environments. The role focuses on advanced database administration, performance, resilience, and close collaboration with infrastructure and application teams, particularly in disaster recovery (DR) operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Oracle databases in production and non-production environments
• Manage database archiving, partitioning, backup, recovery, and retention strategies
• Monitor and optimize database performance, capacity, and availability
• Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery (DR) configurations
• Participate in DR switchover and failback activities with cross-functional teams
• Ensure database security, patching, upgrades, and compliance with InfraCore standards
• Troubleshoot complex database issues and perform root-cause analysis
• Support releases and deployments with development and DevOps teams
• Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks
• Proactively identify risks and recommend improvements

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in Oracle database administration, with demonstrated senior-level ownership
• Strong expertise in Oracle administration, archiving, partitioning, backup and recovery
• Hands-on experience with disaster recovery and switchover operations
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to operate in high-availability, mission-critical environments

Nice to Have

• Database development experience (SQL, PL/SQL)

• Scripting or automation experience

• Experience in regulated or critical infrastructure environments

• Oracle certifications
