As a Business Intelligence Analyst professional, you will be responsible for transforming data into insights that drive business value within the organization. You will support strategic decision-making by analyzing data, generating insightful reports, and collaborating across teams to enhance overall business performance. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, strong analytical skills, advanced Power BI skills, and the ability to communicate financial concepts effectively.

Work Details:

• Work Schedule Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern (May be contacted after hours as needed) | 9 PM to 6 PM (Manila Time)
• Hybrid schedule: In-office one day per week (Thursdays)

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Data Collection & Integration
• Gather data from various sources such as databases, spreadsheets, and external systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Integrate data into centralized repositories or BI platforms.
• Experience integrating BI tools with financial systems.
• Reporting & Visualization
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, or other tools).
• Deliver insights in a visually compelling and easy-to-understand format.
• Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Communicate financial insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Forecasting
• Develop dashboards or models to forecast revenue, expenses, and other key metrics.
• Collaborate with FP&A Manager and other departments to align forecasts with strategic goals. · Monitor forecast accuracy and refining models based on performance and trends.
• Financial & Operational Analysis
• Analyze financial statements, operational KPIs, and business performance metrics.
• Provide variance analysis and explain deviations from forecasts or budgets.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to answer specific business questions.
• Continuous Improvement
• Stay updated on BI trends, tools, and technologies.
• Identify opportunities to enhance BI processes and systems.
• Contribute to the development of data strategies and roadmaps.
• Willingness to expand financial analysis skills and apply new techniques.

• Technical & Systems Requirements
• Power BI expert (dashboard creation, data visualization, analysis)
• Experience with forecasting and variance analysis
• Financial analysis and reporting experience
• Procore or Salesforce experience preferred
• Vista Viewpoint experience preferred
• Organization is transitioning to Oracle (experience a plus)
