The Assistant HR Manager will support end-to-end human resources operations across multiple locations. This role plays a key part in managing people processes including recruitment, payroll coordination, employee engagement, performance management, and HR compliance, while helping foster a positive and compliant workplace culture aligned with organisational objectives.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
- Support induction programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Coordinate exit formalities and maintain accurate employee lifecycle records.
HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Handle attendance tracking, leave management, and support salary and payroll coordination.
- Address employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and labour laws.
- Support implementation of HR best practices and internal guidelines.
Performance Management & Engagement
- Assist in performance management cycles, appraisals, and documentation.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communication, and workplace programs.
- Coordinate training and development activities as required.
Experience & Skills
- Experience: 3–5+ years in HR operations or a similar role
- Core Skills: Recruitment, Payroll Coordination, HR Operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organisational and time-management capabilities
