Content Writer - Privacy & Compliance

We are looking for a skilled Content Writer specializing in Privacy and Compliance to create insightful, accurate, and engaging content around global data protection frameworks. This role involves translating complex regulatory concepts into clear, business-friendly narratives for B2B audiences, while staying aligned with evolving privacy laws and compliance timelines.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Research and create high-quality blogs, whitepapers, newsletters, and LinkedIn content focused on global data privacy and compliance frameworks
• Develop compliance guides, case studies, thought leadership pieces, and webinar content for B2B audiences
• Collaborate closely with legal and compliance experts to ensure content accuracy, regulatory relevance, and SEO optimization
• Stay up to date with regulatory changes including India’s DPDP Act, GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy laws
• Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, tone, and legal precision
• Adapt content for multiple formats such as email campaigns, event collateral, and social media distribution

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Business, or a related field
• 3–4 years of experience writing privacy- or compliance-focused content for B2B SaaS companies, consultancies, or legal firms
• Strong working knowledge of global data protection regulations including DPDP Act, GDPR, CCPA, EU privacy laws, and child data protection frameworks
• Proven research skills with the ability to interpret and simplify complex regulatory topics

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience creating responsive email content using basic HTML/CSS (SendGrid, Outlook, or similar tools)
• Data-driven approach to content, with experience tracking performance using GA4 or similar analytics tools
• Familiarity with Indian privacy, compliance events, and thought leadership ecosystems
• Ability to align content strategy with demand generation and brand positioning goals
