What You’Ll Do
The Human Resources Manager position will oversee the strategic and administrative function of the company’s human resources onboarding strategies and procedures. The role will work with the Human Resource Director to identify policies and strategies that promote, cultivate, and reward an actively engaged workforce.
- Proficiently develops, recommends, implements, and administers human resources policies and procedures for the onboarding team; ensures the preparation and maintenance of these guidelines.
- Efficiently plans, organizes, and exercises control over all activities within the Human Resources Onboarding department; actively participates in developing departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
- Collaborates closely with the Human Resource Director, providing valuable insights and direction regarding ongoing initiatives.
- Assists in the development and delivery of engaging new hire presentations.
- To oversee and lead on all Employee Relations issues; to advise, coach and support leaders and managers as a subject matter expert in all HR matters
- Have ownership of a number of Key Projects to support the delivery of the UK&I HR priorities
- Work with the Recruitment Manager to promote the company, build its employer brand and ensure its visibility, to potential employees and business partners.
- Work with the leaders and managers in the business to embed performance management and help build high performing teams.
- Work to create a Values driven culture by regularly communicating and embedding the AVI-SPL Values.
- Lead on the AVI-SPL reward and recognition Schemes.
- Continually work towards improving all HR KPIs.
- Identify disputes and areas of dissatisfaction before they become a problem and seek to resolve them to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Ensure all key HR and People processes are implemented and embedded successfully throughout the business including, induction, probation, Annual performance reviews.
