About the role
Financial Control -Governing the overall financial control framework of Tesco Sourcing entities worldwide. Supervising
all weekly, monthly and annual Tesco internal financial control processes. Supervising all external financial reporting requirements for Tesco Sourcing entities worldwide . Managing the relationship with TBS, representing your market in appropriate governance forums. Identifying and resolving potential accounting or control issues. Driving a programme of continuous improvement that delivers improvements in control, efficiency and customer service. Ensuring compliance with the Group Key Financial Control Framework. Co-ordinating all relevant internal and external audit
activities. Supporting our relationship with banks, tax advisors and other financial service providers. Collaborating with
Group Tax and Treasury colleagues to simplify or resolve issues as appropriate. Liaising with the finance GPO to ensure consistency between Group and Tesco Sourcing entities worldwide. Support the overall good corporate governance of the Tesco Sourcing entities worldwide. Deputise for the Head of Finance on these matters as
appropriate. People- Developing and leading a high performing team, giving them the opportunities to be their best.
