ChristianaCare Primary Care at Concord Health Center is currently seeking an Medical Office Assistant I.
Primary Care at Concord Health Center is a growing family practice located at 161 Wilmington West Chester Pike in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. Primary Care at Concord is home to a dynamic team of 6 potentially, 7 providers, 2 registered nurses, 7 medical assistants and two office assistants. Primary Care at Concord Health Center sees an average of 100+ patients daily, ranging in ages from neonates to geriatrics.
Primary Care at Concord is seeking motivated individuals with core organizational values, self-motivation, excellent customer service skills, and efficient work ethics.
Candidates with strong call center or access center experience, preferred.

Work Schedule:
- Mondays from 7am to 7pm
- Tuesday through Thursday from 7am to 6pm
- Friday from 7am to 4:30pm
- No weekends or holidays.
- Schedules appointments with awareness of insurance, provider, and practice location

Key Responsibilities
- Greets and interacts with patients in a professional manner to collect required demographic and financial information. Processes/verifies referral information and eligibility for insurance reimbursement as needed.
- Maintains confidentiality of workplace & patient information
- Collects payments according to insurance requirements
- Verify insurance coverage & coordinates referrals
- Performs day-end reconciliation of appointments & payments received
- Answers all phone calls in a professional manner and relays accurate messages
- Communicate with provider and staff through EMR
- Performs other related duties as required.
