Hiring: Senior Accountant

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join us at Telia.

I’m Kamilė Žėčiūtė and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team managing core accounting activities and reconciliations while mentoring, collaborating, and continuously improving finance processes.
 

What You’Ll Do:

• Take responsibility for accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards
• Develop and maintain accurate accounting records, including fixed asset accounting, reconciliations, and continuous ledger maintenance.
• Create reliable period-end closing outputs by performing journal postings, settlements, depreciation runs, report preparation, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Consult and collaborate with internal stakeholders, auditors, and third parties by responding to finance-related queries and providing accounting guidance.
• Lead complex accounting issue resolution, drive continuous improvement initiatives, support automation and process harmonization, and mentor team members while contributing to finance projects across the organization.

• Proven experience in finance processes and accounting, with hands-on practical exposure
• Strong knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system
• Advanced Excel skills (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions). Experience with building Macros is considered an advantage.
• Ability to manage stakeholders effectively, build and maintain cross-functional relationships, and lead meetings with confidence
• Fluency in English, with strong communication and collaboration skills

Monthly salary range for this position – 2700-3200 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
