Project Role Description : Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that the database systems meet the needs of the organization and support its goals effectively. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Monitor database performance and implement improvements as necessary. - Assist in the development of database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Cassandra. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. - Strong understanding of database architecture and design principles. - Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies for database systems. - Experience with scripting languages for automation of database tasks. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Apache Cassandra. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time education
