Drive financial excellence in a purpose-driven technology company
We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our Finance team and play a key role in strengthening our financial operations. You will work hands-on with core accounting processes while acting as a trusted sparring partner to the Finance Manager and the wider organization. With a broad scope of responsibility, you will help ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency across our financial reporting while supporting continued growth and scalability.

Areas Of Responsibility

• Oversee daily financial operations, including hands-on bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end closing
• Oversee capitalization of development costs, ensuring compliant accounting of capitalized intangible assets
• Oversee revenue recognition and help build strong internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Act as a key stakeholder in P&L and Balance Sheet consolidation across our legal entities for monthly reporting, audits, and annual financial statements
• Serve as the main point of contact for external financial consultants in foreign subsidiaries
• Support preparation of monthly cash flow analyses and assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc cash management tasks
• Support the continuous development of our newly implemented ERP system, including the import of historical data
• Assist with contract management for supplier agreements, in close coordination with IT and Legal teams
• Oversee capitalization of development costs, ensuring compliant accounting of capitalized intangible assets
• Oversee revenue recognition and help build strong internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance

About you
You are a structured and analytical finance professional who enjoys combining hands-on execution with a broader financial perspective. You take ownership of your tasks, work independently, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

We Imagine That You:

• Have experience with revenue recognition in a software or project-based company, where income is recognized as earned
• Have worked with subsidiaries, including consolidation and intercompany eliminations
• Hold a Cand.merc.aud. degree and have +2 years of experience outside an audit firm
• Are proficient in ERP systems and Excel; experience with Oracle NetSuite is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Are detail-oriented, process-focused, and capable of translating financial data into insights that support decision-making
