The Role
This is a pivotal role dedicated to improving GVG’s reputable reach and impact in the property and construction sectors. As the Brand Manager, you will hold full ownership of all corporate brand touchpoints, ensuring cohesion and alignment across our digital and physical presence.
You will not just oversee the strategy - you will be a hands-on leader who is not afraid to speak outside the box to drive innovation. You will move the brand forward by connecting authentically with staff, clients, partners, and shareholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Brand Leadership - Develop and implement a company-aligned strategy to elevate the corporate brand and build market awareness
- Team Leadership - Build, Manage and mentor a team, leading by example through a hands-on approach to campaign execution and content production
- Stakeholder Engagement - Act as the central coordination point for brand requests, servicing the needs of various departments including sales, HR, and construction to meet organisational goals
- Content & Media Relations - Lead the creation of engaging content that resonates authentically, and manage media relations including press releases and editorials
- Digital & Website Management - Oversee corporate website renewal and implement new technologies to improve brand visibility
- Sponsorships & Events - Lead all corporate branding sponsorships, awards submissions, and community initiatives
What you will bring
- Experience - Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing/Communications with a strong background in the creative process
- Sector Knowledge - Experience in the construction, development, or residential sectors is highly regarded
- People Management - Proven experience managing and mentoring direct reports
- Technical Skills - Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), WordPress, and Google Applications
- Communication - High-level grammar and written skills with the ability to lead authentic storytelling
- Innovative Thinker - You are not afraid to think outside the box, embracing a "best idea wins" philosophy
