Data Engineer Intern

Our research team works on cutting-edge projects in the field of computer vision (CV) and artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on creating innovative solutions that advance state-of-the-art techniques. We are looking for a passionate and talented data scientist to join our research team to support data workflows, including data preparation, exploratory analysis, machine learning modeling, visualization, and tool development. The ideal candidate has experience working with real-world datasets, building pipelines, and clearly presenting insights to various audience.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and prepare datasets for research projects.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
• Develop machine learning models using Python and relevant libraries.
• Support and collaborate with research projects
• Document and communicate research findings through technical reports and internal presentations.
• Develop internal tools or scripts for automating data collection, classification, or analysis.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python, data analysis packages, and frameworks such as PyTorch
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and statistical analysis.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical insights for diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of computer vision is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, or related field.
