Software Tester/QA Engineer (w/m/d)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-conscious QA Engineer who will take our software products to the next level through careful testing, automation, and close collaboration with the development team. You will play a key role in ensuring that our customers receive a stable, reliable, and high-quality product. 

• Creation, execution, and maintenance of manual and automated test cases
• Further development of test automation in the existing framework (Cypress, Playwright)
• Collaboration in test design and updating the test base
• Analysis, documentation, and reporting of test results
• Problem solving for application and system errors, as well as root cause analysis and error documentation 
• Review and reproduction of incoming error reports
• Collaboration with development teams, project managers, and product/feature owners
• Assistance with customer support: verbal and written customer communication (email, telephone, video conferences)
• Contribution to the improvement of QA processes and related processes (SDLC)

• Completed technical training in IT/software (HTL or bachelor's degree) 
• Alternatively: several years of professional experience in software testing
• In-depth knowledge of test automation (preferably for web applications)
• Knowledge of various testing and analysis tools and experience with Cypress is an advantage
• Basic programming skills 
• Basic technical knowledge: MS SQL Server, CMD, PowerShell, etc.
• Familiarity with working in an agile software development process (SCRUM)
• Structured and independent way of working
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Strong quality awareness
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
