Senior Software Engineer – Pune, India Reporting to the Manager, Development, the Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, analyze, and maintain high-quality software applications.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- As a Senior Software Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Participating in software design meetings and analyzing user requirements to determine technical needs.
- Designing and developing high-quality, efficient code.
- Testing, debugging, analyzing, and resolving application issues.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to address and resolve issues promptly.
- Adhering to the software development lifecycle process.
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to support product releases and address program concerns.
- Taking on additional duties and projects as assigned.
Required Experience & Skills:
We are looking for candidates with 3–7 years of experience in C++ programming, along with expertise in the following areas:
Must-Have Skills:
Strong proficiency in C++, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Socket Programming.
Solid understanding of SQL and Unix/Linux environments.
Knowledge of IBM MQ and web services (JSON, REST, etc.).
Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills.
Awareness of software engineering processes in design, coding, and testing.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
Experience with Microservices architecture.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
Exposure to GPP and/or the payments domain is highly preferred.
