Job Responsibilities:

Job Description Summary:

Design, develop, and refine cutting processes (Lectra, CNC, Perforation, Lamination, etc.) to meet production goals.

Establish and document process parameters, work instructions, and standards.

Analyze cutting performance using Lectra report, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Optimize material utilization, tooling selection, and cycle times.

Troubleshoot cutting-related issues (dimensional inaccuracies, machine errors, or material defects).

Provide technical guidance to operators and production teams.

Support new product introduction by determining cutting parameters and tooling needs.

Ensure cutting processes meet quality

Collaborate with quality team to develop inspection criteria and corrective actions.

Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards.

Oversee the selection, installation, calibration, and maintenance of Lectra machines.

Manage tooling life cycles, wear analysis.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as scrap rate, cycle time, yield, and equipment efficiency.

Prepare reports, technical studies, and improvement proposals.

Key Skills And Qualifications :

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and material behavior.

Development of analytical methods for analyzing regulated substances in recycled composites and polymers.

Understanding of LECTRA technology.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Education And Experience:

Master's degree in Materials Chemistry / mechanical engineer or equivalent

2–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
