Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with up to 3 years of experience to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software projects. The ideal candidate will design and execute test cases, identify and document defects, and work closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality releases. Experience with manual we app testing, bug tracking tools, and Agile development practices is preferred. Strong analytical skills and a passion for quality are essential.

Will Trust You With

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, primarily manual testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. 
• Strong experience testing web-based applications.
• Experience with integration testing between multiple systems or applications. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and the QA lifecycle.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or JAMA.
• Experience using test management tools such as TestRail or similar. 
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify gaps, and design effective test cases.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to clearly document and communicate defects and test results. 
• Good verbal and written English skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate business requirements and technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases based on requirements and customer feedback.
• Perform manual testing across web-based applications to ensure functionality, usability, and reliability.
• Execute regression, sanity, integration, accessibility, and system testing as part of release cycles.
• Document and analyze test results; clearly report defects, observations, and any quality risks found.
• Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product owners to verify defect fixes, verification of user requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
• Create and maintain project-specific QA documentation such as Test
• Summary Reports and Requirement Traceability Matrices.
• Participate in peer reviews of test cases and test results to improve overall test quality.
• Follow defined QA and engineering processes throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and reporting.
• Communicate testing status, risks, and issues effectively within the team.
• Represent company values and contribute positively to team collaboration and project success.
