Your Career
As a Professional Services Sales Architect at Palo Alto Networks, you aren’t just supporting sales; you are the architect of our customers' security transformation. In this high-impact role, you will serve as the strategic bridge between our world-class technology and our clients' most critical business outcomes.
Your Impact
You will partner directly with Services Sales Managers to drive adoption across our Core and "Speedboat" (specialized) account teams. By leading dynamic transformation workshops and engaging C-level executives, you will translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value. You are the trusted advisor who ensures that when a customer buys our platform, they have the perfect architectural blueprint and resource team to achieve total success.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in security, infrastructure, or cloud technologies, including 4+ years in a consultative or sales role
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to create technical documentation (SOWs, project timelines, etc.) for sales and delivery teams
- Experience leading discovery workshops and developing multi-year service roadmaps
- Quota-carrying sales experience and channel partner engagement preferred
- Desirable knowledge of security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, proxies, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SOC environments
- Practical understanding of routing, switching, and adjacent network products
- BS technical degree or equivalent military experience required
- Desirable: Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Apprentice and Practitioner certifications
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $222,000 - $304,500/YR.
