How will you make an impact?


Join Thermo Fisher Scientific's Quality Team for a fixed term role (from beginning of the year until the end of March 2026) and contribute to our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.

As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements within our quality management system (QMS) within a project. The project will include a lot of document handling and process improvements and therefore proactive work style, ability to pay attention to details and readiness to ask for advice are considered highly advantageous for this role.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive QMS initiatives to maintain our high standards of QMS. This role offers exposure to innovative technologies and the opportunity to directly impact patient care through quality oversight of critical products.


What will you need?

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree with ideally 2 years of (quality) experience in GMP/ISO regulated environments or alternatively a more advanced degree without prior work experience
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry or related scientific/technical field
  • Exposure in quality tools and methodologies including document and change control
  • Good documentation and writing skills for developing SOPs, protocols and reports
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus and collaborate across functions
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in team environments
  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English language essential and Finnish language skills beneficial.
