Our client, a leading company in the Energies sector, is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join their team in Zambia. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and success of a dynamic and growing organization.

Basic Duties:

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage cash flow, financial planning, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead audits and liaise with external auditors and stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
• Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA preferred.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in financial management, ideally in the Energies, Mining, or Infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Zambian financial regulations and taxation laws.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
