HVAC Technician - Plant Operations

HVAC Technician at Providence  St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of stationary equipment. Minor electrical work, mechanical repairs, and other duties relating to maintenance are the primary duties.

Required Qualifications:

•  upon hire: National EPA Section 608 Certification - State County City Trade License Authority.
• 3 years Experience in at least four of the following: systems/equipment: electrical, plumbing, medical gas systems, boilers, pumps, chillers, fire sprinklers, fire alarm, HVAC system, refrigeration, generators, and medical support equipment.
• 2 years Experience in a power plant setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Trade school attendance in any of the related fields.
• 4 years Hospital experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
