As our Mexico SYSS Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Guardian Software & Solution (GSS) Sales Manager you are expected to have or develop:

  • Deep understanding of CSS Portfolio of Technologies, Services and Solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the SYSS Installed Based, including hardware, subscription Software, Subscription Support and Subscription Services.
  • Deep understanding of SYSS Installed Based Lifecycle Status.
  • Deep understanding of LCS and Subscription Software/Svcs Market Size.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Set annual LCS & GSS orders growth targets and seek approval from upper management
  • Continually meet with customers to present LCS/GSS portfolio of Services and Software, to position the value of our solutions and to generate new leads.
  • Implement a follow-up cadence with Sales Force to understand funnel status and to ensure orders are closed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with other areas of the business (inside Sales, Operations, Finance, etc) to ensure orders are closed/received within the expected periods.
  • Maximize On-Time Subscriptions Renewals and Minimize Churn.
  • Protect/Maximize Lifecycle Services and Software Profit Margins. 
  • Provide leadership, vision, and guidance to profitably grow the business and to ensure the specific objectives are met, all in a manner consistent with the company’s operating model. 
  • Be fully accountable to achieve the monthly, quarterly, and annual commitments
  • Leadership of Lifecycle services portfolio in a transversal way of the Control Systems and Software business
  • Lead, maintain, and growth of Guardian Software and Solutions business, with clear KPIs of subscriptions renewals, gross and net retentions, and churn
  • Advise and support the Sales team to generate the best value proposition for customers
  • Responsible for SYSS Channels' effective amplification by managing professional deployment of Core LCS initiatives, training, and tooling
  • Build and Maintain a Healthy Funnel Report and Meet Orders, Sales, and other financial objectives 
  • Run a monthly forecasting cadence to provide visibility to leadership of sales pipeline status and plan to achieve target bookings, as well as upside and downside risks to achieving targets.
  • Manage Diligence of Approvals (Delegation of Authority) and support the process with the Business Unit´s Leadership. 
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.  Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.  Lead preparations and discussions with customers around value (operational, safety, quality, etc.) and return-on-investments (ROI). 
  • Close collaboration with marketing, product, operations, renewal, and customer success teams
  • Ensuring business is conducted in accordance with the Company Ethics policy, Quality Systems, and Trade Compliance procedures, and others at all times
  • Analze sales data and market trends
  • Prepare sales forecasts and reports.   Be ready to present (monthly or as required) Mexico CSS LCS/ GSS sales YTD performance and expected’s for the upcoming periods/year.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences

Who You Are:

You are a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager eager to lead and inspire a high-performing sales team with passion, purpose, and drive for excellence. Candidate will have a proven track record in aftermarket and software sales, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the industry. 

For this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic, Systems, Chemical), MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in software. Minimum 5 years' (preferred 10 years) experience in managing quota carrying and delivering forecasts, selling in both a direct and an indirect or channel-driven model, and in complex sales campaigns involving multiple resources - sales executives, specialists, overlays, and field/inside sales teams, with knowledge in Financial Concepts (P&L’s Statements, Revenues, Gross Profit, Operating Profit, EBIT, Cash Flow, Return on Investments).
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies

  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills. Advanced skills in strategic and value selling, including C-level relationships
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. Demonstrated success in bringing people together and bridging gaps between different teams, organizational roles, etc., to solve problems 
  • Proven history as a hands-on leader with strong relationship-building with clients and channel partners. Ability to interface with a diverse customer audience, including operations, management, IT, and developers 
  • Business analyst mindset that can connect the dots between a customer’s pain, technical solution, and the proceeding business impact 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Skillful with Oracle CRM and sales automation tools
  • Demonstrated technical competency. Understanding of Subscription Software, Subscription Support, Customer Success Management, SaaS, and enterprise software solutions
  • Ability to analyze market trends and sales metrics
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting targets and focus on achieving business objectives through product or customer lifecycle optimization.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed.  Up to 50% travel required
