DISA ASSISTANT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - 3RD SHIFT

Description

• Assist in ensuring that all aspects of the quality system controlled by Disa Production are maintained.
• Assist in ensuring that proper manning levels of trained and cross-trained and training is maintained.
• Use Continuous Improvement Process to make the plant safer and increase profitability.
• Assist in ensuring that all following cards and process are revised as necessary to reflect the process and that all processes stated are followed.
• Control scrap through prevention, investigation and correction of processes as required. 
• Assist with initiating and follow-up corrective action requests (CAR’s) for castings & process as needed.
• Assist in ensuring the proper sampling techniques are followed for new and existing jobs. Follow procedures for PPAP and CAT 700 Sample Submissions in such a way as to minimize the impact on production by doing it right the first  time.
• In conjunction with Safety and Engineering, identify hazards.
• Assist with follow-up on all Disa Production operations, initial investigation of accidents, change processes and retrain Team Members.
• Assist in ensuring all Team Members are given verbal warnings for tornado or evacuation.
• Assist in ensuring iron meets quality standards.
• And, any additional duties that may be assigned by Management.
