Salary Range  - $62,000 - $73,000

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing HR functions across the assigned center(s), ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. This role involves managing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, and strategic HR planning. The HR Manager serves as a key partner to leadership, driving initiatives that foster a positive work culture, employee engagement, and organizational growth.

Essential Duties And Responsiblities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for center HR team, providing guidance and resolution.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Audits Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to verify data accuracy, employee records, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements,
  • Provides HRIS support to center HR staff.
  • Reviews and approves all Progressive Discipline actions.
  • Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
  • Reviews and updates center staff training, staff incentive plans, and ensures compliance with each.
  • Responsible for centers Equal Opportunity Plan (EO Plan) including gathering data for submission to 3rd party vendor.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, training, employee recognition events, and other events.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Review HR Policies annually and make recommendations for updates.
  • Maintains accountability of assigned property, adheres to required property control policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all DOL guidelines, Job Corps notices and company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned within the individual’s scope and capabilities.

Requirements

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required, above average public speaking skills and experience in same; above average verbal and written skills; above average problem solving and conflict resolution skills; computer literacy, specifically Internet, email, Microsoft Office; proficient with payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications; ability to work evening hours and weekends as needed; willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time; and periodically work evening hours and weekends. TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS:  This remote role requires 25% travel within the Kentucky and Cincinnati area to meet current operational needs.  Residence within reasonable driving proximity is required. 

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years prior HR experience required.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION: Valid drivers’ license. SHRM-CP preferred.
