We’re seeking a Manager, Sales to oversee a team of Mid-Market and Large Market Account Executives responsible for driving new business growth within AbsenceSoft’s B2B SaaS environment. This role provides hands-on leadership, coaching, performance management, and operational rigor to ensure attainment of revenue goals and high-quality sales execution. Partnering closely with Marketing, Sales Operations, Customer Success, and Product, this role plays a critical part in scaling and optimizing AbsenceSoft’s sales engine while developing the next generation of sales talent.
What You'Ll Do
- Lead, manage, and coach a team of Mid-Market and Large Market Account Executives to achieve individual and team quota objectives
- Oversee day-to-day sales activities, including pipeline development, opportunity management, and forecasting accuracy
- Conduct regular 1:1s, deal reviews, and performance assessments to support skill development and accountability
- Implement and reinforce standardized sales processes, methodologies, and best practices across the team
- Partner with Sales Operations to analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure campaign alignment, lead quality, and healthy pipeline coverage
- Work closely with Product and Revenue leadership to share market feedback and inform product strategy and positioning
- Monitor the competitive landscape and guide AE strategies to differentiate AbsenceSoft’s value proposition
- Drive consistent usage and optimization of CRM tools and sales technologies
- Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of Account Executives to build a strong talent pipeline
- Ensure adherence to ethical selling standards, compliance requirements, and internal policies
- Represent the Sales organization in cross-functional initiatives supporting revenue growth and operational efficiency
- Participate in a highly compliant environment and assist in maintaining company security and compliance controls
- Other duties as assigned
What You'Ll Bring
- 2–4 years of experience managing Account Executive teams in a B2B SaaS environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven ability to lead teams to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Strong expertise in pipeline management, opportunity qualification, and forecasting
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools
- Ability to deliver effective coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Experience evaluating sales processes and implementing operational improvements
