Our Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.As a Senior Accountant specializing in Intercompany and Fixed Assets within our Shared Service Center, you will play a vital role in managing and reconciling intercompany transactions, as well as overseeing the fixed assets accounting process. Leveraging SAP, you will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial data, support month-end close activities, and contribute to process improvements. You will act as a key partner for internal stakeholders across business units and regions.
Based in Pune, India, this role requires close collaboration with BPO partner Accenture, corporate and local Finance teams, internal and external auditors, as well as the IT Support team.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Manage end-to-end intercompany accounting processes, including transaction processing, reconciliations, confirmations, and settlement of intercompany balances in SAP.
- Oversee fixed assets accounting, including asset capitalization, transfers, disposals, depreciation runs, and asset master data maintenance.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for intercompany and fixed assets, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in intercompany transactions and fixed asset records, working closely with business units and other finance teams.
- Prepare and review intercompany and fixed asset reports, providing variance analysis and insights to management.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations related to intercompany and fixed assets.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP/IFRS).
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the intercompany and fixed assets functions.
- Maintain and update process documentation and standard operating procedures.
Required Knowledge And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in intercompany accounting, fixed assets, or general accounting, preferably within a shared service center environment.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (FI module required; experience with Asset Accounting (AA) and Intercompany modules is a plus).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS) and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
