Candidates must be actively practicing or retired attorneys and may be based anywhere in the United States. Because our content requires true legal insight and precision, we only work with writers who bring real-world legal experience to the table. This fully remote role focuses on producing high-quality blog posts that translate complex legal concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content for our audience.Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:- Research complex legal issues in Florida law and translate them into clear, engaging, and accurate articles for our website.
- Write blog posts for the Jimerson Birr website on legal, regulatory, and business related topics.
- Cite statutes, regulations, and case law with accuracy and in plain language for a business audience.
- Ensure content is aligned with our brand voice and meets SEO best practices.
- Work collaboratively with our marketing team and attorneys to refine drafts and incorporate feedback.
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
What We’re Looking For:- Exceptional legal research, writing, and citation skills.
- Ability to distill complex legal concepts into practical, readable insights.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Preferably someone with a legal background of some kind which may include legal writing, legal research, compliance experience, paralegal experience, or work in a law firm or regulated field.
