Responsibilities & Requirements

IT Support Specialist position duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provides first level customer service to students and College personnel for technical computer support.
  • Provides assistance to faculty and staff for CAMS, email, network access, and portal issues.
  • Assists the department director with various projects and duties as assigned.
  • Hires and supervises student workers.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of network operation systems, protocols, and hardware, including Windows, Ethernet, and desktop management software.
  • Experience with network administration and management utilities.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network server/client related hardware and software problems.
  • Excellent customer relations skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A+ certification
