What you will accomplish with us:
- Coordinate an interior design project team in collaboration with the project manager and design director.
- Coordinate tasks required to develop project deliverables with the interior design team.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders to produce construction drawings.
- Develop a design strategy aligned with project objectives.
- Collaborate on concept and schematic development with design directors and/or associates.
- Create presentations, including drawings, sketches, renderings, color and material boards, and models.
- Perform and coordinate work necessary to produce construction drawings and specifications, including materials, finishes, millwork, and furniture.
- Participate in client meetings and gather relevant project information.
- Manage the delivery of production documentation and maintain project records.
- Validate site conditions and supervise construction work.
- Select finishes, accessories, and furniture based on the proposed concept.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in interior design.
- Ability to present concepts to clients and guide them throughout the design process.
- Proficiency in REVIT, Autodesk, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Suite, and other design tools.
- In-depth knowledge of the Québec Building Code, interior design standards, construction drawings, materials, finishes, decorative elements, furniture, lighting, and furnishings.
- A collaborative, innovative, and people-focused approach.
- A creative, inspiring personality with a sensitivity to arts and culture.
- Bilingualism, both written and spoken, in English and French.
