The Opportunity:
Hitachi Energy is seeking a skilled and creative Marketing Communications Specialist—Content Writer—to support the Service Business in developing compelling, customer—and employee-focused content across multiple platforms. This role will be instrumental in crafting narratives that highlight our service offerings, customer success stories, and technical expertise, helping to position Hitachi Energy as a trusted partner in the energy transition.
How You'Ll Make An Impact:
- You will develop and write high-quality and visually appealing content for marketing materials, including brochures, case studies, service profiles, promotions, and presentations for Internal and external use.
- You will collaborate with subject matter experts, R&D, and product managers to translate technical information into clear, customer-friendly language.
- You will support global and regional campaigns by producing content aligned with business goals and brand guidelines.
- You will maintain and update content repositories, ensuring version control and accessibility.
- You will assist in developing content strategies that align with customer journeys and personas.
- You will ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all content formats.
- You will track content performance and optimize based on analytics and stakeholder feedback.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:
- You hold a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field. (Electrical / Mechanical engineering degree is a plus).
- Should have 5 to 7 years of experience in content writing, preferably in B2B or industrial sectors – Energy sector is preferable.
- Experience in writing, Experience with analytics tools to measure content effectiveness; Adobe InDesign – Layout and Page creation, Brochure, Leaflet, Typography; Microsoft PowerPoint - Static Presentation, Interactive Presentation; Adobe Illustrator - Icon, Infographic, Logo, 2D Illustration, Chart, Diagrams; Strong project management and organizational skills; Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro are plus.
- Knowledge of Transformers, High-Voltage products, system integration, and grid automation is an added advantage.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing, and content management systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager).
- Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment, multicultural experience is a benefit.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
