Responsible for designing and delivering Frontier’s People strategy across Europe, the team includes Recruitment and Onboarding, HR Business Partnership, and Learning and Development. Working closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the business, we foster a culture of collaboration, openness, and excellence - where every individual can perform at their best and feel valued for their contribution.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to play a key role in shaping and implementing Frontier’s People agenda across our European offices.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic and operational HR partnership that supports business goals and fosters a positive, high-performing culture. You will manage and coach our HR Business Partner, ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality HR support. You will also take the lead on complex employee relations and performance matters, bringing sound judgement and a commercial outlook, all with a close eye on Frontier’s culture.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic people initiatives while maintaining a close connection to day-to-day HR delivery across an international, knowledge-based organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Hr Business Partnership:
- Develop and maintain strong, proactive relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders across Europe.
- Lead on workforce planning, talent management and organisational development.
- Coach and manage the HR Business Partner, ensuring consistent and effective HR support across offices.
- Represent the People function in senior forums, bringing insight and practical recommendations.
Performance And Employee Relations:
- Lead on complex or sensitive employee relations cases, providing clear, pragmatic guidance.
- Ensure our performance and capability processes effectively support high-performing practices, ensuring an inclusive, fair and consistent approach.
- Coach leaders to confidently manage performance and feedback conversations.
- Partner with the People team to evolve policies and deliver relevant training.
Talent Management And Development:
- Partner on annual pay, bonus, and promotion processes, promoting a high-performance and feedback culture, aligned with our expectations framework.
- Identify and respond to talent trends, progression opportunities and retention risks and work in collaboration with teams and practices to develop and deploy high impact solutions that help Frontier meet its goals.
- Ensure our talent management approaches are inclusive by design and delivery, promoting diversity and equity at every level in the organisation.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development to align growth opportunities with business needs.
Insights And Project Leadership:
- Use HR data and analytics to identify trends and risks, supporting strategic workforce discussions.
- Lead or contribute to people-related projects, ensuring they are well-scoped, practical, and delivered to a high standard.
- Use feedback and insight from practices to shape continuous improvement within the People team.
- Prepare papers, data, and analysis to support the People Leadership team in Executive discussions.
Culture And Collaboration:
- Champion Frontier’s culture of openness and co-creation.
- Promote consistent, values-led people practices across offices.
- Act as a bridge between the People team and the wider business, role-modelling clear, approachable communication.
About You
Essential:
- Proven experience as a senior HR Business Partner with significant employee relations experience.
- Strong coaching and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing or developing other HR professionals.
- Excellent knowledge of employment law.
- Excellent communication, judgement, and influencing skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret people data and translate insights into action.
- Confident operating across multiple jurisdictions with an international mindset.
Fluent English (C2).
Desirable:
- Experience within professional services or a complex, people-focused organisation.
- European experience, particularly aligned to our office locations.
- Familiarity with Workday (HRIS).
- Additional European language (C1/2 in French, German, or Spanish).
