Job Description:
This job is responsible for overseeing programs and projects specific to corporate change initiatives that impact how the bank does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary contact to department managers for critical change initiatives and communicating, influencing, and negotiating vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage resources. Job expectations include delivering regulatory and executive materials and ensuring results align to program strategy, simplification, and new capabilities.
The candidate will operate within the centralized Global Technology Enablement team under GT Business Management & Controls and support GT Employee Engagement. This role is pivotal in shaping business strategy, managing early talent programs, driving employee engagement routines, and executing diverse strategic initiatives. Success in this position requires a business-focused mindset and the ability to adapt approaches to achieve optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will develop a deep understanding of GT employee career pathway and role placement and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on early talent program and other organizational strategies. A working knowledge of general bank policies, programs, procedures, and practices is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic planning and execution of executive routines, partnering with Business Enablement to deliver GT-wide initiatives, including early talent programs and O&I exercises.
- Champion service quality and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize efficiency and enhance outcomes.
- Maintain and evolve GT career and role placemats, ensuring alignment with job architecture and supporting employee skill development and career pathways.
- Defines program controls, processes, procedures, reporting cadence, decision governance structures, and ways of working with key stakeholders
- Works closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new change initiatives
- Monitors the execution of defined tasks through tracking of program milestones and their statuses, developing program plans, and measuring progress against ongoing key performance indicators
- Analyzes, evaluates, and overcomes program risks, and produces program reports for managers and stakeholders
- Identifies key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors to perform in alignment with the program objectives
- Works with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department, leading them to negotiate decision making for efficient and effective resolution
- Meets with stakeholders to provide transparency into project issues and decisions on services, builds positive relationships, asks questions, and uses tools to uncover root causes to challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with business operations, financial oversight, and workforce management/hiring
Global Technology Experience
- Prior experience handling multiple facets of an end-to-end business: financial management, project management, governance, operations and technology management preferred
- Self-starter with ability to work independently as well as leading or participating in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong organization and time-management skills with a focus on attention to detail
- Cultivates a positive team culture and ensures broader collaboration across the organization
- Advanced/Expert MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Horizontal and strategic thinker with the ability to influence effectively at all levels within the organization
- Excellent written verbal communication skills. Proven ability to develop executive ready communications and presentations that synthesize data and tell the story.
- Demonstrates critical thinking, solid judgment, knows when to escalate and how to manage expectations
- Strong analytical skills. Considers a diverse set of data points and inputs and is decisive in solutioning.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the following: business support, financial management including exposure to corporate forecasting, risk management, knowledge of project management
- Experience using enterprise tools such as Fieldglass, Workday and GEP Smart
- Working knowledge of bank policies, programs and procedures
