The Opportunity

As a Sales Development Representative at aXcelerate, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients. You’ll help generate warm, qualified leads for our Sales Executives through email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach, while building your confidence in client conversations. You’ll follow up with prospects who have already shown interest, checking in on where they’re at and keeping the relationship moving. You’ll work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, learning the ropes of SaaS sales and experimenting with new ways to connect with potential customers. This is an ideal entry-level role for someone eager to grow, learn, and make a meaningful contribution.

What You’Ll Do

  • Identify and research prospective clients, reaching out via email, phone, and LinkedIn to create warm opportunities.
  • Follow up with prospects who have previously engaged to understand where they’re at in their decision-making journey and encourage next steps.
  • Qualify prospective clients through questioning
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of outreach activity and conversations in our CRM
  • Support Marketing-led campaigns by following outreach sequences, sharing feedback, and matching timing to the broader marketing calendar.
  • Test different messaging, channels, and tactics, using data and team insights to improve your approach.
  • Deliver friendly and value-aligned first interactions that reflect our HEART values and support a positive experience
  • Work closely with Sales Executives to hand over warm leads, and stay connected with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to remain informed on updates and positioning
  • Participate in team learning sessions, stay aware of industry trends and system updates, and support additional tasks as needed.

About You

  • Previous experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and communicate clearly.
  • Systems savvy, even better if you have experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce etc)
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage tasks efficiently.
  • Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Curious mindset with a willingness to learn and improve.
  • Comfortable experimenting with new approaches and tools.
