Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior QA Engineer to support both manual and automated testing activities across web and/or enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a structured testing mindset, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

• Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and smoke testing
• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts
• Understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to derive test scenarios
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality deliverables
• Participate in test planning, test case preparation, and test data setup
• Support test execution during releases and deployments
• Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in software quality assurance with exposure to both manual testing and test automation concepts
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
• Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Basic understanding of APIs and database testing is an advantage
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
