As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations and strategies in the Housing Finance sector. Your role involves managing a team of sales professionals, setting sales targets, and implementing effective sales plans to achieve business goals. You will collaborate with various teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive business growth.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales executives, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to sales team members for their development.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies related to sales and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective marketing campaigns and product offerings.
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement and make informed business decisions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in housing finance to enhance sales strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote the brand and network with potential clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
